P4 Retreat: MONTANA 2022 updates will be there!
Many people have expressed their desire for a more natural setting, finding comfort and healing amid nature and abundant wildlife, as well as the safety aspects a city cannot provide. This retreat will be held at a private, fully-rented, riverside lodge which offers all these aspects, as well as a comfortable setting for therapeutic work. With a location this gorgeous, it will be hard to not feel more peace of mind! You’ll have acres of space to explore and fresh air to breathe — spending time at this luxurious cabin resort will leave you refreshed, rested, and calm.
Unlike P4 conferences, this P4 retreat will be more relaxed, more casual, and aimed specifically for DID system peoples. The retreat will have a heavier focus on personal healing work for dissociative systems, activities based around improving system communication skills, daily opportunities for building relationships, and having a close support network to work through personal challenges.
Yes, yes, of course, Kathy will be leading group discussions every day, bringing up specific topics for educational purposes, expanding each and every activity into a system-learning experience. This event will be FUN, but also enormously educational and helpful for your entire system. Be ready for activities for lots of your internal people.
Details will be posted here in the following days. The retreat is open to dissociative trauma survivors, but please note the spaces are very limited and will be given on a first come first serve basis. Fees will include lodging and food, Kathy’s time and expertise, and more.
Originally intended for three full days, there are now options to extend for those who prefer longer. You may stay for 6 days, or for the full event of 9 days. More details coming soon.
If you value beautiful nature and safety, and long for a more intimate but intense, educational therapeutic experience without the high price tag of individual work, this retreat is for you.
Please note: This is a REMOTE location — not close to cities, and a solid drive from any urban settings. We won’t be very close to town. For safety purposes, we are not listing the exact location just yet, but the lodge is approximately two hours east of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.
Our retreat cabin has 5-acres of amazing outdoor landscapes, surrounded by mountains, colorful trees, a flowing river, and gentle flat grass lands. Absolutely gorgeous views, every direction you look! With such an incredibly beautiful surrounds, we will have the peace, the privacy, and the space to explore all kinds of unique activities designed specifically for dissociative systems. More photos of the surrounding location will be provided.
Want to learn about system communication? You’ll get many tips here.
Want to learn how to work with your people? We’ll have LOTS of activities based on that.
Need to know how to enjoy life while being multiple and dissociative? THIS will show you.
Hope to see you soon in Montana!

I really hope you decide to have another one sometime next year! A retreat like this is exactly what I think we need but unfortunately the timing being so sudden means we don’t have the funds for it right now. If another one is planned I hope we can get 4+ months advance notice on when it will be if that’s possible
We be going!!L 😄 we even got our plane tickets already. I wish we could stay the whole whole time but caroline just cant take that many days off at the beginning of the school year. If it did be later in the year then maybe but just not in September when she be so focused on behavior expectations and stuff.
But we be so happy we get to be there for 3 days!! That definitely be better than nothing. And we be so excited we get to be in montana and be outside. We cant wait.
It will give us some thing to look forward to when school starts. This will be lots of good for us and we gonna try so hard to relax and have fun. Also caroline already has us watching videos on social skills to try to help us handle so many people better. We gonna work real hard with jadie and rachel and mae,
Also we got a game to bring. And maybe caroline will let us bring some of our art supplies.
I just texted my sister about it and she be excited for us.
It’s us again. I’m just so excited I can’t stand it!!! I have my plane ticket & hotel. It’s just really getting real!!! 10 days! Ahhh. We will learn so much & I totally plan on laughing till it hurts. Being out in Nature will be so refreshing & meeting my friends will be awesome. I’m going off to camp for the first time. I think I’m already packed too! 😂. See you soon. 35 sleeps & one wake up!!! UsPlus
Its rylie.
Me, tuck, and caroline really want to go,
Caroline and Caden be having arguements over it though 🙁
They each be writing lists of pros and cons.
I wish they werent arguing.. They been at it ALL day.
And I dont be a grown up so it wouldnt be proper to interrupt. Theyeach make good points in their lists.
So far it isnt looking good.
I want to go though, it looks so beautiful and it sounds like it will be so many fun things.
I wish i could just bring me and tuck and caroline all by ourselfs. And leave the other kids at home. I wish just us 3 or 4 could hop on a plane and go.
Some days i hate being multiple. I wish i could do what i want and not have to take a vote over everything.
This looks like a fabulous retreat Kathy. I so wish that I was able to come to it. I know that the opportunity to learn and share with others is going to be a powerful and fun experience for everyone. And WOW what a gorgeous setting! Spot on perfect!
I wish you all the best for a great adventure and sure do hope that you will be writing some blog articles about what is learned there.

I wish so much we could go!! we would love to go to montana. We never been there before. It sound amazing. We just cant take those days off of work right when school have started. We be so bummed. We love to be outside and have adventures,
Ah. I/we so wanted to but as I look at flights, the logistics feel angsty. I’m not sure what it is about where I live, but mostly what I find has 12+ hour layovers! Many19! I know y’all will feel safe and laugh – a lot. Just what the doc ordered.
I’d pay to be part of a zoom piano concert!?? How fun would that be! No pressure Kathy. lol
This will be my first attempt at being among others like me. A bit nervous (I’m sure I’m not the only one), but hopeful. Looking forward to more information.
Calvin we be glad you are coming. I bet it will help you. It really is so nice to be around people who know what you are going through. I dont know you at all but i do know that kathy plans incredible stuff and that everyone will welcome you— everyone is really nice.
Btw i am Rylie and I am 11.
Rylie, how thoughtfully kind your words are to me. I have people your same age. If you would like and you feel comfortable, than perhaps they could play and have lots of fun and laughter, I especially like sharing fun happy laughter! I can’t wait to meet you and of course anyone else who decides to come. It’s scary, but I know we’ll be fine. Best wishes!
I wish I could make this, but I will be in New Jersey during that time. Would love to see all of you again. I’ll have to catch the next one.
Where is this? what is the lodge? is it Paws Up? Missoula is 2 hrs east of Coeur D’alene, so it can’t be that remote…. I.e. don’t be scared, this is the most populated part of MT
This isn’t too far from home, I so wish I could be there. Hopefully you will have another one like this. My husband is out of work so I will have to wait. So exciting though!! What a blessing! Have fun!
This is everything I need. I’m stressed out, wiped out, washed out & exhausted. My soul is weary. I’m coming to this beautiful place to spend time breathing, getting to know other peeps like me & to recharge my soul with some laughter. Because we all know you can’t be around Kathy without the laughter. I just can’t wait!!! And I hear Kathy will play a Grande Piano for us. 💜. It’s gonna be great. Hope to see you there!!!
