Yep, it’s here, it’s here!
The Real Little Holiday Song is ready for all the littles to sing along!
First, I’ll share the video with you, (see below), and then further below that, you can see all the words to the song. I placed the words in a lovely teal font color — hopefully they will be fun to read. Teal is just the best color, I think. What is your favorite color?
If you listen to the Real Little Holiday Song a few times, you’ll be able to remember the words easily enough by yourselves, but to help you learn them faster, hopefully someone who is old enough in your crew of peoples can help you read.
This music video has lots and lots of pictures of kiddos in it. Watch all the different faces. Look at all the different expressions. Do you see all kinds of different feelings? Which little ones do you and your littles relate to the most? I wonder if you will see anyone who will remind you of your littles?
Real Little Holiday Song, by The Littles from TRibe.
Isn’t that a fun song?
Do you like the video?
Which picture is your favorite?
Did your littles see themselves in the video?
Which verse do you sing the most?
Music can be such a fun way to talk to your people, and also an important way to express your feelings and to share what’s in your heart. What does this song help you and your littles say? Will you talk with your little people about what they are feeling this holiday season?
Also, even though this song is about the holidays, the idea of your kiddos having lots and lots of different feelings all at the same time can happen at any time of the year. Did you realize you could listen to this song any time you’d like to, and it would probably still apply! The next time you are feeling upset inside, no matter what time of year it is, let your little young ones listen to this song. It might be helpful for them!
But for now, for today, I really hope you and all your people have a wonderful holiday season. Enjoy your new song, and let your littles sing it as loud, loud, LOUD as they can!
OH! And just so you know that I didn’t forget, the audio recording for the big article will be posted soon, as well as some really fun Real Little Activities. A Real Little Holiday has all kinds of good stuff! Keep checking back!
Now… have a listen to your brand new song again, and have a really good day. Feel free to post your words and comments below — we’ll be happy to hear from you too.
I wish you and your kids the very very best in your healing holiday journey. Make this year one of your best.
