P4 is Moving UP to the Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown on the Riverwalk!

Chicago Venue for P4-2 DID Conference

WHERE is the next P4 DID Conference?

So many people have been writing in and asking, so I’m just going to make a public announcement so you can begin to plan!  Yes! Yes!  It’s all happening, and fast!

The Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown on the Riverwalk is our 2021 venue, and we are thrilled with this place.  This hotel has a gorgeous location, the views are incredible, and the comfort and convenience of having everything we need right close by made the Sonesta the perfect choice.

DATES:   22 – 24 October, 2021

P4 DID Conference website:    YES!   CLICK HERE

Are hotel reservations available?   YES!    CLICK HERE

Is conference registration available?    YES!  CLICK HERE

Any conference room discount at the Sonesta?   YES!  Until 8 October

What a beautiful location, hey?   I’m so excited to have our conference here.

The very feel of the Sonesta is wonderful.  It’s just been newly renovated, so all the rooms will be bright and sparkly clean.  It’s got amazing views of the city and the river, and everything we need will be right there in this hotel.  You won’t need to drive.  You can come to Chicago by any plane or train, and via the L Train, you will land a short walk to the hotel. Enjoy your entire weekend without any hassles of having to drive in the big city.

By the way, thank you for your patience — I know you’ve been wondering for awhile.  My team and I have had everything plus the kitchen sink thrown at us this year, so we are a bit slow to get some of this information out to you, but we have been planning, and preparing, and working on many many levels for this conference for many months.  Our October 22-24 weekend will be a conference that you will NOT want to miss.

Keep checking at the new P4 DID Conference website for all the latest details.  We have so much more information to add there, but even now, you can see a gallery of fun pictures and videos of the planning process.

PS:  If you think we haven’t been working on this conference, go check out those videos, and have a little giggle along the way.  I just can’t help but to be silly and yes, of course, my verblexia pops out at the strangest of times, ha.  OH well!  It keeps life interesting!

Are you ready to FLY HIGH in Chicago?

We want 2021 to be BIGGER than last year.  All our plans, all our goals have gone up, up, UP!

Everything is bigger, upgraded, improved.  We had such a smashing success last year that we’ve pushed the boundaries even further for this year.

The clincher metaphor of going bigger and higher??   Our SATURDAY night event will be up up up on the Royal Sonesta’s 39th floor — the penthouse!   Imagine the views of the city lights and the river from there!  It is absolutely gorgeous.  We have both an indoor and outdoor space — a ballroom and a garden terrace — with activities planned.

Agenda and Conference Schedule

Friday, Oct 22, 8 am – 2pm:    Adventure Walk Chicago Style  (a new event, located out in the city)

Friday, Oct 22, 7 – 9 pm:    Meet ‘n Greet – Art and Talent

Saturday, Oct 23, 8 am – 5 pm:     Conference presentations

Saturday, Oct 23, 7 – 9 pm:     Garden Terrace and Penthouse Event

Sunday, Oct 24, 8 am – 5 pm:     Conference presentations

More details posted on the P4 DID Conference site.

Are we having another art show?

YES!   And if you are interested in contributing your digital art, please CONTACT ALEX.

Also, in case you are wondering, with the addition of the new P4 DID Conference website, we’ll be able to get some of last’s years Art Videos up for view at some point in the near future.  If you read my previous article, you’ll know my whole year has been way out of whack, but we are determined to catch up and get our tasks finished, and polished.  Just a little more time, please!

Discount on your Room Reservation at the Sonesta

There are so many more details to share with you, and we have HEAPS of exciting plans.   For now, let’s make this a SAVE THE DATE article — Friday 22nd through Sunday 24th, October — and yes, yes, grab your room reservation at the Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown at the Riverwalk.

Remember, to get the P4 CONFERENCE ROOM DISCOUNT, be sure to reserve your room by 30 September.

OMGosh but the Royal Sonesta looks like a gorgeous place to stay and what a super location right in the heart of downtown and on the river! Dang but I am super jealous of all of you folks that get to go there (I cannot go due to COVID restrictions).
Chicago has always been a place that I have wanted to visit (aside from just wanting to learn and play with y’all in person at the conference). There is just so much to do and see there if you want to make a mini-vacation out of this trip. I thought that its was a super location choice when I first heard about it because there was so much for my husband to do while I was at the conference. Great for anyone who is traveling with others.
Then I took a look at the Royal Sonesta through, I thought … heck, I would not have to go anywhere but there … 😉
But, I sure would love to check out Garrett’s popcorn, rainbow ice cream , the Children’s museum and Sue the dinosaur at The Field Museum. Would y’all send me a care package and a bunch of pictures please! Well, maybe not the ice cream. 😉😊
