It’s the end of the year, and many of us are thinking about goals for the New Year.
“Cleaning house” is often on that list.
Compulsive Hoarding and Dissociative Disorders
This article about hoarding was once one of the top viewed articles here at Discussing Dissociation — for months and months. It was the top viewed article in 2009 – 2010, surprisingly enough.
I’ll send it through again, and see what the viewers of 2014 – 2015 think.
Your comments are welcomed, of course!
And for those of you struggling with compulsive hoarding, please know there are people who understand and can help. You’re not alone.
I wish you all the best in your healing journeys.
Warmly,
Kathy

There was longer post on hoarding that explained the reasons this was an issue for folks what dissociation. I can’t find it on the new site. Did it get culled?
Hi Doris,
All the same articles are still here, so whatever you saw before will still be here. I need to “unclutter” but I haven’t removed any articles at this point in time.
There is a category for Compulsive Hoarding listed under the DSM Diagnosis tab.
Here’s the link for that:
http://www.discussingdissociation.com/category/compulsive-hoarding/
That will bring up the articles here tagged for Hoarding, and hopefully the article you are looking for is on that page.
Thanks for your comment, and welcome to the new site. 🙂
Warmly,
Kathy
