Hello hello!
It’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to write, and it’s time for something fun so I’ve decided to share some pictures with you all, showing you some beautiful and precious companion dogs. Hopefully these little puggies will brighten your day like they do mine.
Many of you remember Emma and Oliver, yes?
These two little pugs have been special for a lot of years. What can be more precious than the never-ending snoring of two little puggies?
Do you think DID survivors can learn anything from pugs?
Let’s have a look at that!
Now, Miss Emma is getting older.
It’s almost her birthday, and she’ll be 11 yrs old this year. Wow. She’s in good health, and she’s as happy as can be, so hopefully she’ll be around for many years to come. Just for fun, have a look at Emma while she stares at some leftovers. Apparently she wasn’t very impressed!
- Isn’t she funny?
- What do you think she is thinking when she’s looking at her food bowls like that?
- What would you put her in food bowl for her?
- Do you think she wanted to eat pizza or spaghetti or ice cream instead of puppy food?
And it’s very important for Emma to be safe when she driving around in a car, so have a look at the way she sits when she’s is on the road.
She’s knows that seatbelts save lives, so she’s gonna be safe!
She wants all of you to be safe and secure when you drive too. Do you wear your seatbelt? I do!
If you drive a car, are you a good driver? Do you pay extra attention to the road to keep from having car accidents? I hope so. It’s really important to be safe in cars. Cars can be wonderful, but only if they are driven very carefully. Emma sure likes to go go go tho’. She loves her outings.
Sweet Emma. She’s doing pretty good for an old girl, don’t you think?
And now… how’s that Oliver?
Well, Ollie Boy still loves his stuffies. Here is a day where he was busy playing and feeling pretty good.
Isn’t he cute? Such pretty eyes.
What kind of game do you think he is playing?
What do you think he would be saying to his fuzzy toy?
But other days, Oliver feels sad. This time, he is snuggling up with his stuffie and feeling really down. Do you ever feel like that? Do you hold stuffies when you feel sad? I hope Oliver feels better today than he did this day.
Emma and Oliver have been great sports about being here to visit with you today. They like sharing little bits of their day with you and other little ones. Emma and Oliver aren’t very tall. They know exactly what it feels like to be small in a big world.
And now that you’ve seen their pictures, Emma and Oliver have some questions they’d like to ask you.
Emma’s Dissoci-ACTION Questions:
- What do you like to eat?
- What do you do to feel safe?
- How old will you be at your next birthday?
- Where should I go on my next outing?
Oliver’s Dissoci-ACTION Questions:
- What makes you feel happy?
- What makes you feel sad?
- What kinds of toys and stuffies do you like?
- Why is my chin turning gray?
Thank you for spending time with us today. I hope you feel a little bit better than you did before. 🙂
I wish you and your puppies the best on your snoring journeys!
Warmly
Kathy

We try to snuggle with our dogs alot. We got so much ansiety over everything. We got such bad stomachakes, so we be hugging our dogs so much. We keep our little dog on the couch with us all the time. We scratch our dogs tummys so much. We trying to help ourselfs feel better.
Emma’s Questions:
What do you like to eat? Pizza!
What do you do to feel safe? Never feel safe
How old will you be at your next birthday? 11
Where should I go on my next outing? On a adevnsher walk
Oliver’s Questions:
What makes you feel happy? Being with pepol i love.
What makes you feel sad? Being far away from pepol i love
What kinds of toys and stuffies do you like? My elefent. And stuft kittys. And stufft bears.
Why is my chin turning gray? My chin still be tan.
I think she’s thinks Oliver was too hungry and forgot about her. I would leave her special treats but I don’t know what kind is good for her. I think Ice cream would be good for emma if her teeth don’t get too cold!
I’m not a really good driver but I wear my seatbelt. The sun has been causing me a lot of problems with driving. I seem to space out and my thoughts disappear. Not sure what to do about that but I got some sunglasses.
Oliver is very cute. I don’t know what game hes playing but it looks like hes thinking Hey…no pictures! I want to play alone. I think he was telling his stuffie I lovers u.
I’ve been feeling down a lot like Oliver in that picture. My summer has been spent in the hospital and in group homes but at least I’m getting a little better. I don’t have stuffies but I have my favorite doll. Only problem is shes fallen apart so I have to learn to sew her back together.
Tell Emma I like a lot of foods and I sleep when I feel safe. I don’t know how to answer the age thingy. I would like to see emma visit a park.
I don’t know Olivers first 2 questions but I like soft, squishy and silky stuffs to rub. I think Olivers chin is turning white because hes been so curious he had to think a lot and hes getting wiser.
Hi tenhill,
Thank you for your fun comment — it was good to hear all of your thoughts about Emma and Oliver. They will like to hear your answers to them, I’m sure. 🙂
I’m glad you are wearing sunglasses when you drive — bright lights (even bright sunlight) can be a little triggering sometimes, and bright lights certainly make it harder to drive, so please be very very careful and keep those sunglasses on when you need them.
Oh — and is it possible that someone else comes out to drive, and they like the sunglasses??? 🙂
That’s just a question to think about — I have no idea how your system works for you, but maybe you can explore a little more about who in your system helps you to drive. Going blank like that could mean that something is happening with your system at that time.
Just be safe on the road!!!!
I hope you feel better soon.
Warmly,
Kathy
Olver is sad wen his momy levs for werk
He is hapy wen his mom com hom from werk
Hi Pilgrim,
Yes, Oliver likes it best when his people are close around him. He’s not so much of a loner kind of guy — he likes to be all snuggled up close and tight. 🙂
I hope you are having a good day –
Warmly,
Kathy
We think she would want pizza. We had pizza and ice cream -not in that order, and now we have a bad migraine. Do dogs get migraines? We always wear seatbelts, too!! We have like 5 drivers, and they all backseat drive and keep eyes out for each other. We are safe drivers.
We like to eat pizza and ice cream; feel safe with our stuffies, dunno on burfdays, and think u should go to a water park!
Happy: sunlight and rainbows
Sad: bad, skary feelings and memrys
Toys: my little ponies, owls, a wolf, and monster high dolls.
Grey chin- age? Host doesn’t like the grey hairs she found and pulled them out. We told her not too cuz we needs are hairs. But she has pulled out at least 3. And several black hairs over the years.
Sorree boy doglet feels sad sometimes. We do too sometimes. And sick sometimes, like now.
